What should I do if I get an error message in the Freestyle Libre app?

How to handle sensor errors and what to do next.

If you see an error message in the Libre app (such as "Sensor Error," "Replace Sensor," or "Sensor Ended"), it means your sensor has stopped providing glucose readings. Follow the prompts on screen and tap the "i" icon for more details.

If the error resolves on its own, your sensor will resume readings automatically. If the message indicates your sensor has ended or needs to be replaced, you'll need to remove it and apply a new one.

If your sensor stopped working before its expected lifespan, you can request a free replacement from the manufacturer through the "My Sensors" tab of your Theia account: theiahealth.ai/sensors

For a full walkthrough of setting up your next sensor, see Getting Started with the Libre 3 Plus Sensors.
