Will Medical Imaging, CT scan, or MRI affect the sensor

The Freestyle Libre sensors will need to be removed prior to MRI, CT scans, and high-frequency electrical heat (diathermy) treatments.

For any medical procedure, notify your provider that you are wearing a CGM sensor and ask for any considerations or removal that they may need to make to proceed with your care.
