Is it safe to wear the CGM during an ultrasound/high intensity electromagnetic technology/radio frequency?
Updated over 2 months ago

CGMs should be removed prior to the following exposure: Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI), Computed Tomography (CT) scan, or high-frequency electrical heat (diathermy) treatment. The effect of MRI, CT scans, or diathermy on the performance of the System has not been evaluated. The exposure may damage the Sensor and may impact proper function of the device which could cause incorrect readings.

Ultrasounds would not classify as any of the above so this would be a personal choice if you wish to risk it. In the case that you wear it and it becomes faulty, please contact us to get you a complimentary replacement.
