Using the Theia App
Updated over 3 weeks ago

After completing onboarding, you'll have full access to the various dashboards in the Theia app. We provide multiple ways to view your data, including your home dashboard, weekly and metabolic reports, and access to view all of your activity and daily scores.

All of these pages are conveniently available in our mobile app, but you can also sign into Theia on your computer. Learn more about each of these components of your Theia account below.

Here are the components available on your dashboard:

  • Your Glucose: The most recent glucose reading

  • Glucose Chart: A chart of recent glucose readings over time

  • Daily Score: The current Theia score for the day (learn more about our scoring system here)

  • Activity Scores: Scores for recently logged activities

Weekly Report

Weekly reports provide insight into how your metabolism has performed over the span of 7 completed days of sensors usage. Weekly reports are best viewed to view performance in comparison to previous weeks.

Here is the breakdown of how the weekly report shows data:

  • % change in glucose spikes

  • % change in glucose dips

  • % change in avg daily score

  • % change in activity score

Metabolic Report

Think of this report as a health overview over any timeline (one day, week, month, year etc.) The metabolic report is similar to the weekly report in terms of data shown with the added flexibility to see longer or shorter timelines.

In the context of the metabolic report, here is what all the metrics mean:

  • Glucose Spikes: Anytime glucose goes over the upper green bound of the graph

  • Glucose Dips: Anytime glucose goes under the lower green bound of the graph

  • Time in Range: Time spent in the green zone of the graph

  • Avg Glucose: Weighted average of glucose for the time period selected

  • Avg Daily score: Weighted average of all daily scores for the time period selected

  • Avg Food Score: Weighted average of all activity scores for the time period selected

Purchasing Sensors

You are able to purchase sensors at any time as well as enroll in our Autoship program which will deliver sensors at regular intervals. Sensors purchase can be managed from the "Buy Sensors" section of the Theia menu.

There is no recurring subscription fee for sensors purchased through Theia.

Bring Your Own Sensor

Theia offers the ability for you to bring your own sensors if you have an outside prescription for CGMs. We support the following sensor models: Libre 14 Day, Libre 2, Libre 3, Libre 3 Plus, or Dexcom G7 sensors.

The Bring Your Own Sensor plan incurs a monthly subscription fee. You can manage this plan from your Buy Sensors page.

Additional Menu Options

There are a number of additional tabs available within your Theia account under the menu tab. These options include:

  • Daily Scores: review past daily scores and select any entry for a summary of the score and activities logged that day

  • Activity Scores: review past activity scores and select any entry for a summary of the score breakdown and the associated glucose chart

  • My Sensors: use this tab to request a replacement if you ever have an issue with a sensor. There are separate sections for Dexcom and Libre, so be sure to scroll to the appropriate section to submit your request.

  • Connect CGM: Enter your CGM account credentials to sync your glucose data to Theia. This connection was established during onboarding, so you'll generally only need this tab if you switch to a different sensor type.

  • Notifications: view and update your Theia notification preferences

  • Notification History: review past notifications for your account

  • Alerts: set up custom reminders for your account

  • Share My Data: use this tab to enable data sharing with your provider. In most cases, this was set up when you initially created your account.

  • Profile: review and update your personal details such as email, phone number, and mailing address

  • Onboarding: review the onboarding steps you completed upon signup

  • Questionnaires: this tab stores the answers you or your provider provided when creating your account.

  • FAQs: links to Theia's Help Center
